The English indiepopband Jacksons has been in the studio again and have now announced that they are ready with the follow up to their debut album, Breakfast. Later this year they will release their second full-length studio album – Lunch.
The pop album has focuses on catchy melodies and perfect hooks. It is both impeccable and pedantic, but also filled with joy and playfulness.
Lunch is a clear proof that Jamie Saunders, singer and guitarist of the band, is a singular and talented poet. In addition to the hours spent in the rehearsal room in London, lyrics has also been produced on the go.
Everyone in the band, which besides Saunders counts his brother Johnny Saunders (synth), Peter Catte (bass) and Kim Amamy (drums) have all contributed to the songwriting.
